Product Review – Bento Lunch Box Set

June 8, 2016

Last week, I was sent a set of 6 3-compartment Bento Lunch Box to try out and review.  The boxes are dishwasher & microwave safe, and is able to be used for potion control.  They are made from FDA-approved, high-quality polypropylene #5 plastic.  There is also no BPA, PVC, or phthalates in them, plus they come with a lifetime guarantee.

Bento Lunch Box SetThe containers are very nice, and they have multiple color lids so you can keep everyone’s lunches straight.  Each section holds a different amount; ½ cup, 1 cup, and 3 cups.  You can easily place a sandwich in there with some additional snacks.

The lid covers over each section; but they are not leak proof.  You do not want to put anything remotely liquid or runny in it.  I would be leery of putting them in a cooler with ice too.  Also, the lids are not very secure due to them being easy open for kids, so if you have something heavy in them (like carrots), you run the risk of the lid coming off if it gets turned upside down.  These are also fairly big, and they didn’t fit in my daughter’s lunch bag at all…which is a fairly standing size bag.

Overall, they aren’t bad.  You just need to be careful of what you put in them.  They are perfect to load up snack items & a sandwich though.  They are available on Amazon for $14.99 (+ shipping).

I received the above mentioned product for free for a review.  All opinions are 100% my own.
