Last week, I was asked to try out the Valentia Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask. The clay mask is made with natural ingredients, including Kaolin Clay, Plant Stem Cells, Spirulina, CoQ10, and hibiscus and cranberry fibers. It’s designed to improve your skin tone, tighten pores, lessen the appearance of wrinkles, reduce redness, and naturally decrease the level of pro-aging toxins.
I have reviewed several Valentia products in the past and had great experiences with them, so I was very excited for the opportunity to try this out. The mask comes in a good-sized 4floz jar. The clay is and off-white tan color with flecks in it. It has a pleasant aroma, but I cannot place the scent. Like typical masks, you apply to the face and leave it on for 15 to 20 or until it dries, and then you gently wipe it off.
I used it after taking a shower, so my skin was already clean & my pores open. I only had to use a very small amount. You can hardly tell there is any missing from the jar. It covers great and didn’t seem to irritate my skin (my skin is super sensitive). It dried very quickly, and unlike other masks I’ve use, it didn’t dry so hard that I couldn’t open my mouth or move my face. When I wiped it off, it came off very easily without any pulling or having to go over the same spot 100 times. My skin definitely felt a little tighter and firmer. It also wasn’t blotchy and the overall tone looked better as well.
Overall, I really like the clay mask. It’s easy to use and I definitely saw some improvements after the first use. I’m eager to see what regular use will do. Plus, it lasts a long time saving you money. The mask is available on Amazon for $25.00 (+ shipping). You can also follow Valentia on Facebook and Instagram as well.
