Low Commitment Hair: Three Changeable Summer Hairstyles

May 23, 2016

Summer is full of unique, inspiring hair, and it’s an ideal time to play with new styles. With many options for lift, straightening, curls, and updo’s, many of the season’s hottest styles can be achieved without drastic and irreversible changes to your current style. Many high-end tools provide just the right amount of curl, straightening, or volume. Consider hairstyle looks that are high-impact but still low-commitment – there’s no need to commit to a pixie this year unless that’s something you desire.

lace front wigsAs you prepare for the summer ahead, don’t forget to take care of your tresses and wash them regularly. Don’t wash them so often you’ll dry out your scalp and hair, but do care for your tresses and use quality products that’ll keep your hair silky smooth, such as keratin shampoo and conditioner. By maintaining a regular hair care regimen for your beautiful locks you’ll not only have strong and healthy tresses, but you’ll continue to have gorgeous hair that’ll look amazing styled into any hairstyle.

Braids

Braids continue to be on-trend this season, with a new twist on an old favorite. Peek-a-boo braids are woven underneath a long growth of hair and peek out in strategic places, such as just over the shoulder. Fishtail braids and classic braids are perfect for this chic and surprising style. Best of all, if your arms get sore working on all your thick hair, you can purchase an expertly matched extension of human hair and create a removable braid to clip in on those perfect occasions. Choose this look for a night out with the girls, sitting in the front row at a fashion show, or frequenting visiting your favorite trendy club.

A Low Bun

The tailored, sleek, low buns of fall and winter translate into a messy low bun for spring and summer. However, don’t forget about the low bun for work affairs. Simple and classic, the low bun offers low-maintenance with high-style. If your hair is too short to pull into a classic bun with all the fullness it deserves, enhance it with a small sock, or attach a hairpiece to a baby ponytail.

These solutions will elevate your style while maintaining a low-maintenance, no-fuss look. Choose a sleek, jeweled clip to complete the look. It’s the perfect way to experience the same freedom and ease of short hair without chopping your locks.

Long, Loose Hair

Long, loose hair isn’t going out of style anytime soon, but there are specific trends that will help keep your style current. Deep side parts are huge this season, offering a dramatic side sweep that will add a touch of old-world glamour to any look. Sky-high hair with a ponytail can be achieved by teasing layers of your bangs before clipping them back and sweeping the rest of your hair up into a smooth ponytail. Full, fringed bangs offer a classy, flirty look sure to turn heads.

These styles are gorgeous, and it seems like they are relatively easy to master! Trying to decide what to do with your hair, especially when you’re in a rush, can be really stressful, so tips like this are very helpful! Nicely done! Thanks so much for sharing these ideas!
