Goldie & Bear is the newest show that is currently airing on Disney Junior. It picks up where Goldilocks and the Three Bears ended and follows the adventures of best friends Goldie and Bear. They are joined by their friends, who are very familiar fairytale & nursery rhyme characters. The first collection of episodes, titled Best Fairytale Friends, recently released on DVD. It contains 7 full episodes & has a free playtime fun set included as well.

My daughter is a huge fan of the show, and was very excited to get a copy of the DVD. It contains her favorite episode Pinocchio-itis. Goldie catches Pinocchio-itis after telling a fib, making her nose grow. The more she fibs, the more it grows…just like Pinocchio. Unfortunately, Bears’ parents need her to distract him so that they can finish building a present for him & have no idea she has it. She has to spend the afternoon fibbing to him and ends up with a 4 foot long nose.

Overall, it is a very cute show & my daughter loves it. It’s definitely worth checking out. You can chatch new episodes on Disney Junior & pick up the DVD at stores.
