A few weeks back, I was asked to test our and review a pair of Easy Magnetic Snap Lock Closure Kids Water Sandals from Gold Pigeon Shoes. The sandals are for kids, and feature non-skid outsole, adjustable padded straps, a magnetic snap lock closure, and are waterproof. They are available in a variety of sizes and designs.
I ordered a size 11.5/12 for my daughter in Pink Travel Fun. They arrived quickly and she was very excited to try them out. They are very well made & sturdy. They are a little large on her since they are about one size too big on her. I ordered them that way so that she would be able to wear them this summer. It didn’t seem to bother her too much, and she mentioned that they weren’t heavy on her feet.
However, the horrible weather and reoccurring sinus infections/colds have really conspired against us as far as getting a chance to really try them out. It’s either been cold & flooding due to heavy rain, or she’s really sick. I haven’t been fairing much better lately either. She’s worn them around the house and got to wear them outside a few times before the weather turned. She thinks that they are very comfortable and is looking forward to wearing them to the beach during the summer.
Overall, she really likes them. I wish she had been able to wear them a little more before the weather changed, but there is always next summer. The sandals vary in price depending on the design. This particular pair is available on Amazon for $29.99 (+ shipping).
