Product Review – Insulated Lunch Bag

October 25, 2015

Insulated Lunch BagLast week, I was sent an Insulated Lunch Bag with adjustable shoulder strap from Sacko to try out and review. The bag has two zippered compartments (the main one & a front pocket), several mesh pockets, and the adjustable strap.

I was excited to try this since the handle on my daughter’s school lunch bag broke off. The adjustable strap would make it a lot easier for her to carry it into school. Her other bag had to be clipped to her backpack with a carabiner, which is why the handle tore off.

The bag is a good size, and has plenty off room for containers & snacks. I had no problem getting everything into the bag for her lunch. In fact, it ended up looking kind of empty. I think the only issue I have found with it is that it doesn’t seem to have a lot of insulation in it. I normally use a large cold pack in order to keep her drink & sandwich cool, but my daughter said that the bag was kind of warm by the time she ate. It’s not as much of an issue for her since I don’t give her anything that would spoil, but for other foods it would be an issue.

Overall, it’s a good sized bag with lots of room & the shoulder strap is a plus. However, the lack of insulation makes it impractical for foods that will spoil easily. The bag is available on Amazon for $15.83.

I received this item for free to help facilitate my review.  All opinions are 100% my own.
