Last week, I was sent a DVD copy of Supernatural: The Complete Tenth Season. Season 10 was a bit of a rollercoaster ride for the boys. Six weeks after the season 9 finale, Sam has to hunt down the now demonic Dean in order to perform a ritual to save him. After the ritual is completed, Dean has his humanity back but he still carries the Mark of Cain, which is slowly try to turn him evil. Meanwhile, Castiel is dying & goes out searching for a cure with Hannah.
I enjoy watching Supernatural, but usually end up missing a lot of the episodes. I really enjoyed getting the full set so I could get caught up, and thought that this was the best season yet. There is a lot of action & I really liked watching Dean fighting/struggling with the Mark of Cain. Crowley, everyone’s favorite daemon, has been promoted to series regular, so you get to see a lot more of him…which is always a treat in and of itself. I think my favorite episode from this season was ‘Fan Fiction’, where the boys stumble across a school play about themselves. The play is based off of Chuck Shurley’s books, and you get to see him right at the end of the episode.
Overall, season 10 is definitely worth picking up. It would also make a great gift for any Supernatural fan. It’s available now on Blu-ray, DVD & Digital HD wherever movies are sold.
