Two weeks ago, I was sent a bag of FitTea 28 Day Detox to try out and review. FitTea is an all-natural way to detox. It’s designed to give you energy, boot your metabolism, aid in digestive health, and naturally boost weight-loss in problem areas. It will also help suppress your appetite. Their slogan is “Give us a few weeks and we’ll give you a new waistline”.
I’ve struggled with weight and fluid gain since having my daughter, so I’m always eager to try out products that help with those issues. Some products I’ve tried in the past have worked to a point & others not at all. I was interested in trying FitTea since it seemed like a different approach when compared to the others I’ve tried before. There are no pills to take, no need to change your diet, or so some sort of crazy workout routine. It’s just tea…and I really like tea (in case no one has noticed yet).
One bag comes with 28 individual tea bags. The bags are kind of a sheer mesh and are filled about half way with the dried tea leaves. The tea contains the following ingredients: Organic Green Tea, Oolong Wu Yi, Organic Rooibos, Ginger, Pomegranate, Guarana, Birch, Stevia, Corn and Honey Powder. You can smell the tea right way when you first open the package. It’s pleasant, if a bit strong.
To prepare it, simply submerge a tea bag into near boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes. You only need to drink it once a day, either first thing in the morning or right before a workout. I add just a little sugar to give a little extra sweetness. I’ve been drink it in the mornings for the past week so far. While I haven’t really noticed any dramatic changes, I have seen where it is have a slight effect.
Probably the most noticeable effect is that I’ve noticed that I don’t seem to retaining as much fluid. I can tell a difference only because my fingers aren’t swelling up as much during the day…which I think is great. I actually had to take my wedding band off a few weeks ago due to the swelling, and hadn’t been able to put it back on. I hope that by the end of the 28 days, I might be able to put it back on again without having to resize it.
When I first started drinking it, I noticed quickly that my metabolism was increasing a bit. I was a lot hungrier during the day for the first week or so. I didn’t want to keep eating all day, thus defeating the whole weight loss thing, so I did the next best thing: drink water when I started feeling like I wanted to snack. I’m really bad about not drinking enough water during the day, so do this has helped force me to drink what I should. Now that I’ve been drinking it for two weeks, I notice that the snack cravings have stopped. But I am still keeping up with drinking the extra water.
I’ve also had more energy lately too. I don’t feel the need to take a nap during the day, and I’m able to get more done around the house. If it wasn’t so ridiculously hot outside, I think I’d be getting more yard work done too. In fact, I’ve been so busy with cleaning & laundry that I’ve been neglecting getting the reviews done again (always seems to happen). I’m also sleeping better at night and waking up earlier too.
The other thing that I’ve noticed is that I’m going to the bathroom a little more (…#2). Now, I’ve had other diet/cleanse things in the past that makes this part of it unpleasant…primarily going almost constantly and it being painful at times. With FitTea, I usually end up going maybe 20 to 30 minutes after drinking it. It’s not one of those “really need to go” type feelings. And I didn’t experience any pain or discomfort either, which is a huge improvement over the last cleanse that I did.
Overall, so far it seems okay. I’m seeing little things that I am hoping add up to a bigger change at the end of the 28 days. I think that the best thing about it that I like is the fact that it’s tea. Pills are okay but I get tired of having to take a tone of them all day long for little to no results. This is a lot better for you. I’ll do a follow up review to detail my full FitTea results then. I’ll make sure to update this post with a link to the follow-up FitTea review. FitTea has a variety of products that you can get. The 28 Day Detox that I received is $45. They also have a 14 Day Detox that is $25. They also have fat burners, appetite suppressants, and other products. I’m interested in trying out the fat burner once I’m done with the detox. You can check out all of their products & pick up some FitTea at their website.
I received the above mentioned product for free to help facilitate my review. All opinions are 100% my own.
VERY GOOD
