Product Review – BooksTo.Me

November 15, 2014

books-to-me_117A few weeks back, I was invited to try out BooksTo.Me. BooksTo.Me lets you print out your Instagram images into a hardcover book. You can choose between getting a book monthly or one every three months. You also have the option of excluding photos by tagging them with #noBTM.

Sign up was pretty simple. I picked out my subscription plan (which was monthly), then authorized them to access my Instagram account, and then filled in my info. It took only a few minutes. After that, you have 24 hours to tag any photos that you don’t want included in the book before it gets printed. I personally don’t post a whole lot to my Instagram, so I ended up going on a posting spree to ensure that I had a good number of images to be printed. I think I posted around 40 or so for the month of October. For a monthly book you need to have at least twenty, and can have up to 320.

I got the book in about a week. All of the pictures came out nice and the book is very well made. It even has a sleeve on the cover with several of the images and the dates/month they were pulled from the account.

Overall, it’s a great service if you are very active on your Instagram account. The books make great keepsakes or excellent portfolios if you use your account for photography. The monthly subscription is $24 & the quarterly is $44. The shipping is free. You can get more info and sign up at the BooksTo.Me website.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
