A few weeks back, I received a SURPAHS Precision Digital Kitchen Scale. The scale is stainless steel, compact & lightweight, and accurately weights in grams, pounds, ounces, milliliters, and fluid ounces. It runs on two removable CR2032 batteries.
The scale itself is very pretty to look at. I expected it to be a lot heavier than what it is. It’s also compact so you can store it without it taking up a lot of room. I tested it out by weighing several items, including food and objects. Everything measured correctly and the TARE feature worked perfectly. It’s also easy to switch through the measurement settings as well.
I only found one slightly negative thing about it. I noticed that you barely have to hit the button to turn it on. So, if you barely knock into it or if it gets pressed into something in storage, it will turn on. It does have an auto-off function, but I don’t know how effective it would be if something was holding the button down. To be on the safe side, I ended up putting the plastic thing back under the battery. You could also just as easily take the batteries out too.
Overall, the scale is not bad. I like it and it looks nice. The issue with the button is easily fixable and doesn’t take away from the functionality of the scale. The scale has a 2 year manufacturer warranty, and is available on Amazon for $22.98 (+ shipping). You can get more info and check out their other products at the SURPAHS website.
I received the above mentioned product for free to help facilitate my review.
