The wig ponytail is synthetic & gives you a long, flowing ponytail. It is blonde colored with highlights, and is curly. It attaches to your hair with a built in clip. My hair is too short, so my daughter tried it on. I pulled her hair up into a ponytail, and then folded it up to fit into the clip. It looks really long on her, but is great for dress up. The only issue I noticed is that the clip is really hard to open. It took a few tries to get it open enough to be able to get her hair into to it.
