Product Review — Orgainc Matcha Green Tea Powder from KissMe Orgaincs

January 22, 2014

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

A few weeks back, I was sent a 4oz bag of culinary grade organic matcha tea from KissMe Organics.  Matcha tea helps improve focus, boost metabolism, and gives you an energy boost.  The matcha power comes in a resealable pouch and is a vibrant green.

Since this is culinary grade, it will taste best when mixed into drinks and food.  There are tons of recipes out there that you can make with this, & KissMe Organics has a free downloadable recipe book you can get off their site.  I’ve tried out two of the drinks from it so far, the latte and the orange juice cocktail.  I’m using soy milk to make it (as per the recipe), and is really good.  I add in a bit of vanilla extract to it to help cut the soy flavor.  The orange juice cocktail is also good.  I’ve been adding about a teaspoon full into my smoothies too.  My husband has been drinking it straight as hot tea.  I thought it was a little bitter without adding sugar, but he seems to like it.

Overall, I really like it.  It’s great in smoothies and there are lots of foods you can add it to.  The price is also good considering how expensive matcha is.  The 4oz pouch is $25 (+ shipping) & is available on Amazon.com.  You can find out more about KissMe Organics by visiting their website.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
