A few days ago, I got to go on a bit of a shopping spree at Carter’s. Carter’s is a well-known name in children’s clothing. Their sizes run from newborn – 7 & they make it super easy to put together cute outfits for all occasions.
There is a Carter’s store right nearby my house, so I do go in fairly often if I’m able to get out to the outlet mall. They usually are always running some sort of sale depending on what time of the year it is. I normally try to stock up on t-shirts since that is what my daughter wears the most through the year. Plus, all the clothing always seems to switch over to long-sleeves once summer is over & it never really gets cold enough here to need them (it’s Texas after all!). This year, however, I needed to find quite a bit of clothes since my daughter hit a bit of a growth spurt. All of her 4T pants are too short in the leg & several of her tops are also a bit small now.
I’m really bad at trying to put outfits together most of the time. I prefer a very quick in and out. Heck, I can usually go into a shoe store and be out in less than 10 minutes. I guess I’m like a guy that way. The layout in the Carter’s store is perfect for my type of shopping. Everything is organized by size and each section is clearly marked. Also, they clothes are all relatively interchangeable. Just about all of the shirts will go with any pants, and vice versa. I got a pair of jeans, several pairs of leggings/stretch pants, and several tops. I would have gotten more, but I received a call about a death in the family so I had to cut my shopping short. I still have some money left on the gift card they gave me, so I plan to go back after Christmas.
