Product Review — Ozeri INSTAVACK Green Earth Food Container Storage Set

November 29, 2013

Last week, I was sent an Ozeri INSTAVACK Green Earth food container storage set.  Ozeri is a maker of digital lifestyle products for the modern home. They carry a large number of products for kitches, bathrooms, and more.

The set comes as eight pieces: 4 bottoms of various sizes & 4 matching lids.  Each container can be vacuum sealed by pressing down on the lid once it’s latched.  This helps keep food fresher for longer periods of time.  The bottom has a wave design that keeps fruits and vegetables elevated and out of their juices, which can cause them to go bad faster.  There is also a dial the let you keep track of the days as well.

I go through plastic containers like crazy.  My husband tends to leave them outside if he’s grilling, and I wear the cheaper ones out when marinating assorted meat.  The Orezi containers are made of a thick, sturdy plastic.  The lid has closure flaps on all four sides and seals tightly.  When I turned the tub upside down with beans in it, noting leaked…not even around the vacuum valve.  I really like that all four containers nest inside the largest one for very easy storage.  We’ve already gotten a lot of use out of them.

Overall, the INSTAVACK containers are sturdy and seal tight, plus the vacuum seal keeps the food fresher.  They are available at Amazon for $24.95 (+ shipping).  You can get more information about these and all the other products the Ozeri offers at their website.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
