Product Review — Ageless Derma Loose Mineral Foundation

November 5, 2013

Ageless-Derma-Loose-Mineral-Foundation-Barely-There-500

A few weeks back, I was sent some loose mineral foundation from Ageless Derma.  The foundation is fine enough to be used in an airbrush, and can easily be mixed to make cream & liquid foundations.  It contains natural anti-inflammatories and anti-oxidants to fight free radical damage, & give your skin a barely there glow.

Since having my daughter, I don’t get out as much as I used to, so I don’t wear makeup all that often anymore unless it’s a special occasion or I’m trying to cover up a breakout.  I’ve never tried loose powder of any kind before, so this was a bit new to me.

I ended up taking it with me to FenCon for use with my hastily put together costume.  For art of my costume, I was going to wear a pair of latex elf ears & I needed them to match my skin as much as possible.  After using my regular liquid foundation on them, I used the powder foundation on them to lighten out the color a bit.  I simply used one of my blush brushes to apply it.  It evened out the color nicely without a lot of effort.

I also used it with my Halloween costume too.  Using the brush, I covered my face so that the tone was even.  It gave my skin a nice glow to it, which I then highlighted with glitter.

Overall, I really liked the powder.  It’s very easy to use & I can use it on a multitude of projects.  In fact, I plan on using it to blend in edges of latex appliances for a stock shoot for a book cover.  The powder costs $25 (+ shipping) for round container, and is available in ten shades.  You can get more information at the Ageless Derma website.

I received the above mentioned product for fee to help facilitate my review.
