Product Review — Matcha DNA

October 1, 2013

For the past two weeks, I have been trying out Matcha DNA.  Matcha is a powered green tea that is very healthy for you to drink.  It’s grown in China & is also used for tea ceremonies in Japan.  I’m not a big green tea drink, but my husband is.  He was very excited about trying it out since it’s one we don’t normally get.  I received a bag with 34 single serve pouches.

Preparation is pretty easy.  Once you boil your water, you want to put to warm up your cup.  I did this by filling it up with the hot water, then emptying it out.  You then add in the tea powder, & then your water.  You will then want to stir it very well to make sure that all of the powder dissolves.  You can use a spoon or a small whisk.

It tastes really good.  It’s not overly strong and tastes just like what you would get in restaurants.  My husband loves it and has already gone through a good bit of the pouches.  I also like it, though it’s hard to get any since my husband conveniently uses up all the water.

Overall, Matcha DNA is very good.  It has a good taste and healthy for you.  The bag that I received with 34 individual packets is currently available on Amazon for $20.15 (+ shipping).  You can get more information at the Matcha DNA website.

I received the above mentioned product for free to help facilitate my review.
