Product Review — Greek & Roman Costumes @ Wholesale Halloween Costumes

October 1, 2013

I'll get a better pic at Halloween.
I’ll get a better pic at Halloween.

Last week, I got to pick out a Halloween costume from Wholesale Halloween Costumes.  Wholesale Halloween Costumes offers a wide variety of the hottest costumes & accessories at discount prices.  Since having my daughter, I’ve had a hard time finding larger size costumes that look good.  However, this site has a bunch of them.

I ended up checking out the Greek & Roman costumes, where I found the Women Plus Size Olympic Goddess Costume.  It’s the classic Roman Goddess costume, in an off white/yellow color.  It comes in several sizes, up to 3X.  The site also has a variety of wigs and accessories to go along with it.  I ended up ordering a pair of sandals & circlet (the shoes & circlet have not arrived at the time of writing) to go along with it.  I also ordered an Athena wig.

The costume dress arrived within a week, and I love the way it looks.  The color is perfect and it fits well.  It really looks like something out of an old gladiator movie.  The bottom half is a bit sheer, but I can wear some nude colored shorts under it.  This wig is a bit sloppy at the moment due to the way it was packaged, but I’m hoping to get it fixed up by Halloween.  Once I have all the other pierces for it, I know that it will be perfect.

Overall, I am very happy with the costume.  It was inexpensive & looks great.  This particular costume costs $32.90 (+ shipping).  You can browse all of the items they have to offer at their website.

I received the above mentioned Goddess Costume for free, via Costume Reviewers, to help facilitate my review.
