Product Review – MIRA Digital Kitchen Scale

September 17, 2013

Last week, I was sent a MIRA Digital Kitchen Scale to test out.  The scale has a large digital face on it, comes with a stainless steel bowl, & holds up to 11 lbs.

I have reviewed a digital scale in the past, and while it is good I have noticed with further use that it can be very hard to read the numbers on it due to the placement of the screen.  With this scale, the face is large and set out from where the bowl sites…making it super easy to read.  Plus, the numbers are large so you don’t have to squint at them.  It has a tare function and you can easily switch between grams, ounces, pounds & milliliters, with is very handy.  It also has a backlight which is really bright.  Even better, the scale comes with a full warranty.

I’ve already used it a great deal.  I really like the bowl, since I can use it for other stuff.  I’ve had to get after my husband on several occasions for trying to use it to take food out to the dogs in (I lose more bowls that way).  Now, I would be very careful getting it wet.  If you need to clean it, wipe it with a damp towel and don’t get the digital face wet at all.  This is the best way to ensure that the face doesn’t short out.

Overall, I am very impressed with the MIRA Kitchen Scale.  It’s easy to use and read, & has all the main functions you need in a kitchen scale.  It’s available for purchase on Amazon for $27.99 (+ shipping).  You can check out all the other items that MIRA makes by visiting their website.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
