Dawn Pruitt, writer of Check It Out! with Dawn, lost her home last month after a neighboring subdivision set off fireworks despite the warnings of authorities. They lost everything, including their pets.
Jessica H, a mutual accuantice who works in social media marketing, has started a fundraiser to help Dawn and her family out in their time of need. The goal is to raise $2,500. There are only a few days left and so far they have only raise a fraction of the goal.
