Child Killer Was Working at My Local Walmart

August 8, 2012

Holy Crap!  My mom was listening to Mike Gallagher a little while ago and found out that one of the cashiers at the Terrell Walmart was Dena Schlosser, the woman who in 2004 hacked off her bady daughter’s arms off after being told to do so by God.  She was found not guilty by reason of insanity.  She was institutionalized for several years and eventually let out on outpatient status.  That was revoked in 2010 and she was readmitted to Terrel State, a few blocks away from our house.

She is now back out on outpatient status and was hired at Walmart in June.  However, she used a different last name to get hired.  I’m assuming that she knew she would fail the background check.  The story broke last week when a shopper snapped a picture of her after regonizing her.  Mrs. Schlosser, going be the name Laettner, was fired sometime over the weekned.

The state decalred that she isn’t a threat and I’m all for getting people rehabilitated and all, but still… It’s really unsettling.  Being that she is still being treated and has been recommited once doesn’t really make her safe in my mind.  Besides, she gave a false name to get hired and never once let on who she really was.  What happens if she gets set off while dealing with a customer?  Being a cashier at Walmart is the absolute worst place for someone with her background to work.  Hell, just working at Walmart period is bad.  Plus, she’s around people’s children everyday when she’s not even allowed to see her own!  She was around our daughter, since she rang us up on several occasions.  I’m sorry, but she is not someone I want anywhere near my daughter.

Due to the law, she is allowed to be free since she was found not guilty…even though she is still considered a danger to her remaining shildren.  The state seriously needs to reevaluate some of their laws.

Oh wow! How creepy! I’ve worked at Walmart and I’m not surprised about the background check thing… I agree, her working at Walmart is the worst! Way to much contact with with tons of people daily!

    tsk, tsk, tsk
