Chalk City Review & Giveaway [ENDED]

Last week, I was sent a Chalk City Activity Kit.  The kit come with a variety of toys: a road maker, a set of 3 road sign stencils, a set of 3 obstacle course stencils & 20 pieces of chalk.  The kit encourages your children to go outside and play while having fun.

This was Hannah’s first experience with sidewalk chalk.  She picked out one of the pink pieces.  Due to the horrible heat wave, she had to play with everything on the porch so she was out of the sun and I could easily get her in when she got too hot.  She’s had a blast tracing and coloring in the stencils.  She has also enjoyed playing with them in the house was well.  The road maker is pretty neat too.  It folds out and holds the two pieces of chalk to make a path.  We haven’t gotten to play with it much yet, but are planning on using it in the driveway once the heat lets up a bit.
When she’s not using the stencils, she’s been drawing smiley faces and playing tic-tac-toe.  The chalk pieces are the big think ones so she can easily hold them.  Everything also came with an activity booklet that had several great ideas for games.
Overall, this has been a fantastic toy.  It’s a shame she hasn’t gotten to use it more, but I know once the 100+ degree days end, she’ll be outside drawing away.  The toys can be found at some toy stores, and you can also get them on Amazon.  The road maker is $12.99 (+ shipping) while each set of signs cost $8.99 ($8.99) each.  For more info about the products, you can check out their website.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
The Giveaway
Chalk City wants to give one lucky reader an Activity Kit of their very own.  You will get all of the same items I received: the road maker, 20 peices of chalk & both sets of road signs.  To enter, leave a comment below tell me what you think about the activity kit.  You can then complete the extra entires on the Rafflecopter form.  The giveaway is open to US residents only and ends August 26 @ midnight EST.

I think kids would have great fun with this, especially if they can go to a big area such as a park that has plenty of places to ride bikes and they could come up with all kinds of fun games to play

It looks like HOURS of fun, first with planing, then with setup and, finally, with playing with their creations! Awesome idea and a reasonable price.
