Physical Therapy – Week 4 & 5

July 26, 2012

I think I’ve hit the wall as far has the phyisical therapy goes.  While I’ve gotten some range of movement back, my knee just doesn’t seem to be where it needs to be.  The inner thigh muscle is getting a little stronger, but the outer still isn’t moving at all.  I’m not sure if anything is going to improve any more at this point.  The therapist thinks that, with the ammount of time that went past between the MRI and my first visit to the doctor, there is probably a lot more damage then initially seen.

I go again on Monday, then I have the follow-up visit with the doctor on Tuesday morning.  I’ve got a pretty stong feeling that I’m going to end up needing to have the surgy done, so I told Jason to make sure that he is going to be home since we will more that likely be talking about money & payments.  The therapist said that if that’s the case, then I’ll being keeping up with what I’m doing leading up to the surgery to make sure that everything is in the best possible condition going it.  It will help the recovery time and the next round of phyisical therapy.
