Genghis Khan has invaded the Irving Arts Center! The exhibition opened on the 1st and runs through September 30th. The exhibit follows the story of Khan from his childhood as a poor child to his rise as conqueror.
There are over 200 artifacts, including jewelry, weapons, a mummy and much more. There are also a plethora of events….including a trebuchet building competition, lectures, summer camps, and movie screenings. One of the movies being shown is Mongol, rated R, and is an excellent movie.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $18 for children (18 and under). Children under 2 get in free. For more information on the exhibit, you can visit it’s website.
