Product Review — ArtisticLetters

June 9, 2011

I recently got to try out a letter pack from ArtisticLetters. ArtisticLetters was created by Jodi Gerber, who created the letters by taking photos of objects in nature that resembled the letters of the alphabet. The letters can be used for a number of projects, including decorations, cards, and scrap booking.

For my project, I decided to make a door sign for Hannah’s room. I bought a wood plaque at WalMart for 94ยข and painted it a light blue color. I then went through the collection of letters to pick out which ones I wanted to use. I also picked out a picture of a heart, which can also be used as an ‘o’, as well. I then placed them in a blank word document and arranged them how I wanted. It took me a few tries to get the size right and I adjusted the contrast a little. Once they were ready, I printed them out. Next, I cut out the letters and heart, and arranged them on the plaque. Then I used a glue stick to fix them in place.

It was faster to make the sign
than it was to get this picture.

Overall, these letters are great. They are a must for anyone who makes crafts. You can get them either on CD or as a download. The prices are a little high, but not too bad. The full pack is $79.90, but right now they are half off. You can also get a pack of mattes for $39.90, also half off right now. For more information or to purchase, check out their website.
Also, as an added bonus, all my reads can get a offer: Up to $6 off select packages plus a free download of one of the Damask Alphabet packs that are exclusive to blog promotions. You can take advantage of this offer here. This offer is only good until midnight June 11, 2011.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com created by WebBizIdeas.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commissions 16 CFR, Part 255 Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.
