Donkey, being completely immersed in the computer age, has no clue what a book is or what to do with it. Does it Twitter? Can you blog with it? He pesters Monkey, who is reading said ‘strange object’, until it is given to him. Donkey becomes wholly infatuated with the book and hilarity ensues…all leading up to a sidesplitting punch line at the end. It’s A Book by Lane Smith pokes fun at society and poses a great question: Are books still important? It’s a great book for children ages 4 to 8, but is also highly enjoyable for parents.
