Warner Bros. Home Entertainment provided me with a free copy of the Blu-ray I reviewed in the Blog Post. The opinions I share are my own.
Arrow: The Complete Sixth Season picks up after the explosion on Lian Yu at the end of Season 5. Oliver must now embrace a new role: being a father. Juggling this new responsibility along with being mayor and the Green Arrow will put Oliver to the test as enemies close in on all sides.
Arrow season 6 is a wild ride with a lot going on. It’s a bit hard to keep up with at times, but worth watching the entire season in one go. There was a lot of Oliver/Felicity going, with the two of them finally getting married at the end of the Legends, Flash, and Supergirl cross over event (which was awesome, even though they killed off half of Firestorm). Personally, I’ve gotten a little sick of Olicity so I’m hoping that the darker tone of the upcoming season will tone that down a little.
I was sad to see Paul Blackthorne leave at the end of the season, but he had a great run on the show. The biggest treat for me this season was seeing Kirk Acevedo kick butt as the big bad. He is a great actor and I love everything he’s been in, especially Fringe.
Overall, season six of Arrow was excellent and I can’t wait to see what the next season brings. As I mentioned earlier, it’s looking to be pretty dark. Blu-ray and DVD copies are available, so go grab your copy today.
