This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TracFone for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Are you looking for a cheaper way to keep in contact with your kids and family this summer?  Do you just want a simple, regular cell phone without all the apps and expensive data plans?  Well, TracFone is the cell phone for you.  TracFone is the affordable alternative to the major cell phone companies.
TracFone is a  pay as you go, online or with cards, cell phone that you can purchase at thousands of retail stores nationwide.  There are no contracts, credit checks, and activation or deactivation fees, plus you get great nationwide coverage and excellent reception.  You can choose from brand name phones, like Nokia and LG, and have you pick of different phone types.  You can get basic “Candy Bar” phones for under $10 if you want something simple, or pick a smart phone for $29.99 if you features like apps, a camera/video recorder, and web access.

They also have a variety of monthly plans.  With a one year  service card, you can get double minutes for the life of your TracFone and 800 minutes all for only $119.00.  You can also choose between monthly plans, ranging from 200 minutes for under $30 and 50 minutes for $9.99.  The “double minutes” feature can be added separately for $19.99, but there are some phones that come with it already included.  TracFone is also the wireless service that allows you to make international calls to over 60 destinations for the same price as a regular call.
If you want some more information about features, you can check out this video of real TracFone customers discussing the reliability of TracFone.  You can also watch this video of real TracFone customers discussing the joy of no surprise bills.

Definitely looking for a cheaper way to go for myself…kids are all grown up. Trying really hard to find ways to cut expenses. Didn’t realize how much we’re spending on cell phones each month. And, for someone who doesn’t use it all that much, just a waste of money. I do like that you don’t need a contract and can buy new airtime when you want. I’ve also been hearing about this double minutes for life which makes it a better deal yet!
