Last week, I was sent a sample of Total Nutrition by Immortal Herbs. Total Nutrition is a powder supplement that you can mix into drinks and smoothies. It contains antioxidants, amino acids, enzymes, nutrients, vitamins, and phytonutrients….all of which with give you an energy boots and is very healthy for you. You can use it as a meal replacement for either breakfast or lunch, or have it as a snack/drink between lunch & dinner.
The powder itself is green, and can make your drink green as well. It’s not the most appetizing, but you can easily remedy that by mixing different stuff in with it. When I mixed up my smoothie, I used a mango juice base and added in the following frozen fruit: banana slices, pineapple chunks & mixed berries. The mixed berries gave the smoothie a purple color, so I didn’t have to worry about the green. Add in 1 tablespoon of the powder and your good to go.
With many nutrition powders, you can sometimes taste them in the drink. But with this one, all I tasted was the smoothie. There was no off flavor or weird aftertaste. The other thing that I noticed was that I had an abundance of energy for the entire day. I got a bunch of cleaning done, & then started on Halloween decorations. I also managed to wear out my rambunctious three year-old.
Overall, I really like Total Nutrition. It tastes good & gives you a tone of energy. A 9.5 oz pouch (30 day supply) costs $69.95 (+ shipping). It’s a bit high, but is worth it for the quality. Immortal Herbs also offers a wide variety of other products as well. You can check them out at their website.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
EDIT: For some reason, my other pics of this product won’t show up on the site. I’m going to see if I can find them again on my computer.
