Product Review – Slice Safety Cutter

November 29, 2011

A few weeks ago, I was sent a Slice™ SafetyCutter – Great for Couponers.  The Slice is a small, hand-held tool that is a safe replacement for siccsors.  The Slice has a small ciramic blade that never gets dull, and will not cut your skin.  It easily cuts through paper, plastic packaging, tape, and more.

I’ve heard about the Slice for years and had always wanted to try one, but I’ve never really seen it in stores.  I’ll tell you, it was worth the wait!  This is the greatest thing ever!  Since I’ve been having trouble with my hand, there have been days where using scissors is nearly impossible.  With the Slice, I don’t have to worry about putting pressure on my thumb or aggravating the joint.  You just hold between two fingers and lightly pull it along whatever you are cutting.
You don’t have to press down hard at all for most stuff . . . it’s like a knife going through butter.  Just make sure that you don’t have anything under it that you don’t want cut.  The first few times I was cutting put coupons, I was pressing a little too hard and ended up slicing through several sheets of paper.  Best of all, it has a little built-in magnet so I can keep it up on the fridge and not loose it.
Overall, the Slice is an excellent product and I highly recommend it.  You can take it wherever you go and you won’t cut yourself with it.  The Slice sells for $5.99 (+ shipping), which is an awesome price for something that you will get a lot of use out of.  You can purchase the Slice at their website.  You can also check them out Facebook and Twitter.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
